My home was created through a bio-architecture renovation project, using reclaimed and recycled eco-friendly materials like stone and wood, and powered by green energy. It’s nestled in a forest of oaks, walnuts, figs, and other fruit trees, surrounded by a vast meadow. It’s the ideal refuge for adventurous, curious travelers who care about the environment and seek a stimulating, shared vacation. It’s also a place to relax, read, reflect, and breathe clean air and positive energy. Located just a few kilometers from Jesi in the hills, it’s a perfect base to explore the coast and the beautiful Marche hinterland, an area rich in art, nature, and culture. Discover the castles of Jesi, the Gola della Rossa and Frasassi, Genga, the Sentiero del Papa, and the Abbey of San Vittore alle Chiuse; Avacelli Castle and the Valle Scappuccia Gorge. Visit Cingoli and its little waterfalls, a peaceful oasis to cool off on hot days. Then head to the coast and the vast Conero Park with its secluded beaches and clear waters. Pair your outings with delicious tastings of local wines and products. In the house, you’ll find maps for cycling and hiking trails, as well as wine and food routes. The Bookhouse B&B is also a place to read, study, reflect, and especially to work remotely thanks to fast, reliable internet. Slow life, fast Wi-Fi. For breakfast, you’ll find eggs from my hens, homemade jams, and milk and yogurt from the local dairy. I live here with my books, many friendly, peaceful cats, two gentle elderly dogs, and some hens. The cats don’t access the private guest area, but this is a home for cat lovers and those who enjoy interacting with animals.
